The second day of Macau’s biggest corruption trial at the Court of Final Appeal yesterday saw Ao Man Long deny the accusations of receiving 167 million patacas bribe by claiming “I had no idea” or choosing not to respond.
The trial began at 9.40am with president of the Court of Final Appeal, Sam Hou Fai, asking the 50-year-old suspect, former Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Ao Man Long, if he wanted to defend himself and answer questions raised within the indictment.
