Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah was invited to participate into the Four-Faced Buddha birthday celebration held at the open Buddha temple near the Macau Jockey Club on Friday.

Gaming tycoon Dr Stanley Ho and Thailand Consulate-General of Hong Kong and Macau, Vichai Varasirikul, were also present.

Traditional ritual was conducted with guests worshipping each side of the Four-Faced Buddha, and finished with hitting the metal drum.

A miniature Buddha or garland was given to each of the guests after completing the celebration ritual.

When asked Dr Stanley Ho if Ao Man Long’s corruption trial would impact on Macau’s business image, he said the trial would be better to close as soon as possible, adding that it was unusual to have bribery cases taken place in the region.
