CCAC: Ao couldn’t explain his 850 million pataca assets

The breakdown of Ao Man Long’s unknown source of assets valued at some 850 million patacas was testified by the CCAC’s principal investigator at the Court of Final Appeal yesterday.

The eleventh day of the former secretary for transport and public work’s kickback trial saw the presence of 22 witnesses including Frederico Nolasco da Silva, his wife Patricia Nolasco da Silva, detainees Ao Man Fu and his wife Ao Chan Wa Choi.

However, only three of the present witnesses gave testimonies during yesterday’s trial session as the others were allegedly involved in the bribery and money laundering activities which entitled them a legal right to decline testifying on Ao Man Long’s trial.

One of the three testifying witnesses, principal investigator of the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC), Fong Pak Ian, gave the court a three-hour power point demonstration that detailed theĀ  seized documents analysing the undeclared property value of Ao and suggesting the alleged bribery activities between CSR Macau and Ao Man Long. … continue reading this entry.
